The Somi MSD 7 is the flagship of Somi's MSD series: a short-handle English willow players bat with a mid-level bulge, thick contoured edges and a Sarawak cane handle. It is built for serious leather-ball batters who want the best willow Somi offers.
Somi is the bat label of Somi Kohli, the Indian bat maker behind BAS, whose workshop built bats for MS Dhoni, including the lighter bat Dhoni asked for at the 2019 World Cup. The 7 in the name is Dhoni's shirt number.
