Description
SG King of Jungle 3 (KOJ 3) English Willow Cricket Bat
The King of Jungle 3 is the entry bat in SG's new KOJ series, built on Grade 3 English willow. It is the cheapest way into the series while still being a genuine English willow leather-ball bat. SG has been making cricket equipment since 1931 out of Meerut, India.
Why Players Choose the King of Jungle 3
Grade 3 willow carries more colour and marking than the higher grades, and that is essentially what you are paying less for. Structurally it is the same species of blade, and once it is knocked in properly it performs as a match bat rather than a compromise.
We stock the KOJ 3 in short handle in both light and medium pick-up, so you can pick the balance that suits how you play rather than taking whatever is left.

FAQ Section
Q1: What does Grade 3 mean? It is English willow with more natural colour and marking than Grades 1 and 2. It is a cosmetic grading, not a structural one.
Q2: Will a Grade 3 bat last as long? Looked after and knocked in properly, yes. Preparation and care matter far more than grade for how long a bat survives.
Q3: How does it compare to KOJ 1 and KOJ 2? KOJ 1 is Grade 1 and KOJ 2 is Grade 2. The KOJ 3 is the entry point of the series.
Q4: Should I take the light or the medium? Light suits players who rely on hand speed. Medium suits players who want weight behind the shot. Same blade either way.
Q5: How do I look after it? Oil the face lightly with raw linseed a couple of times a season, keep an anti-scuff sheet and toe guard on, and store it dry and away from heat.
Q6: Is this a full-size adult bat? Yes. Short handle is the standard adult size and generally suits players from around 5ft 9in upward.
Q7: Do you ship from the US? Yes. Every order ships from our Edison, New Jersey location, with free US shipping on orders over $100.
