The JOOLA Scorpeus Pro 3S Dual holds USAP PBCoR.43 and UPA-A certification simultaneously, so it is legal in every sanctioned draw you are likely to enter. It also happens to be the widebody, which makes it the more forgiving of the two 3S Dual shapes.
Why Dual Certification Matters
Pickleball runs two certification bodies right now, and a paddle legal under one is not automatically legal under the other. Players usually discover this at the table before a match. Buying dual-certified removes the question and protects the purchase if either body moves its standard.
Widebody Shape
A wider face gives you more usable hitting area either side of centre. Fewer mishits in fast hands exchanges at the kitchen, more stability when you are late on a ball, and a more consistent backhand roll. You trade a small amount of reach for a meaningful gain in the balls you actually make.
14mm Core
The 14mm plays faster and more reactive than a 16mm, with more pop available from mid-court. Paired with the widebody shape, it gives you speed without the punishing sweet spot that normally comes with a thin core. Carbon Friction Surface over a polypropylene honeycomb core.
