Why Clear
Coloured edge tape covers the paddle's own graphics. This one is transparent, so a Perseus Pro V still looks like a Perseus Pro V. If you plan to sell or trade the paddle later, an intact edge under clear tape holds value that a chipped one does not.
Fitting It
850mm is enough to run the full perimeter of a standard paddle with a little to spare. Clean the edge first, start at the throat, and work around in one continuous pass so the join sits where the hand covers it. Replace it when it picks up scuffs, which is the whole point.
