Description
Running Shoes Are Why Your Ankles Hurt
Running shoes are built to move you forward. Pickleball moves you sideways, and a running midsole rolls when you push off laterally. The JOOLA FUNKSH1n_PB: R4LLy is a purpose-built court shoe, and it is the piece of kit that changes the most for players who have been playing in trainers.
Carbon Fiber Shank
A carbon shank through the midfoot resists the twist that happens when you plant hard and change direction. That torsional stiffness is what a court shoe has and a running shoe does not, and it is the reason lateral movement feels stable rather than sketchy.
Qubit Foam Midsole
Super-critical foam gives you cushioning without the tall, soft stack that makes a shoe unstable side to side. You get impact protection across a three-hour session and still feel connected to the court.
Cordura Upper and CPU2K Toe Cap
Cordura Advanced Fabric is abrasion-resistant where it counts, and the CPU2K protective toe cap takes the drag from the toe-drag that outdoor players inflict on every serve. The Dynamic Fit Sleeve locks the midfoot down so the foot is not sliding inside the shoe on hard cuts.
Sizing
True to size in standard width. If you are between sizes, take the half size up. Players with high arches should be aware the Dynamic Fit Sleeve applies noticeable midfoot pressure.
