Description
The Hybrid That Stops You Choosing
Elongated for reach or widebody for forgiveness. That trade-off has cost more players more matches than any technique flaw. The JOOLA Kosmos Pro V is the hybrid shape in the Pro V family, built for the player who does not want to give either one up.
The Shape
At 16.3" x 7.7" the Kosmos sits deliberately between the Perseus and the Scorpeus. You keep meaningful reach at the kitchen line without the narrow face that makes elongated paddles unforgiving, and the 5.25" grip length suits players who use a two-handed backhand only some of the time. If you have bounced between shapes and never settled, start here.
Propulsion Core
The Pro V generation's Propulsion Core returns more energy on contact than the Pro IV it replaced, which is where the extra pace on drives comes from. The patent-pending KineticFrame throat absorbs the vibration that usually comes with that. Textured carbon fiber face over the JOOLA Feel-Tec grip.
14mm or 16mm
14mm is the faster, more reactive build. 16mm holds the ball on the face longer, which makes drops, dinks and resets easier to place. The Kosmos is a shape choice first, so pick the thickness on feel alone.
Certification
USAP certified and UPA-A certified. Legal for sanctioned tournament play in the United States.
