Description
One Paddle, Every Shot in Your Bag
Most players end up choosing between power and control, then spend a season regretting it. The Selkirk OMNI Pickleball Paddle is built for the player who refuses to choose — a true all-court paddle for the 3.5 to 5.0 club, league and tournament player competing on US indoor and outdoor courts.
The OMNI is the first Selkirk paddle built on ReactCore: a PureFoam floating center, a second PureFoam ring, and an EVA Power Ring fused around it. The result is a core with adaptive flexibility that stays soft on a reset and stiffens up behind a full swing, which is why the OMNI scores 9/10 power and 9/10 control at the same time.
Key Performance Features
ReactCore Adaptive Core: A PureFoam floating center surrounded by a PureFoam ring and an EVA Power Ring, delivering consistent response across the whole face instead of a narrow hot spot.
10/10 InfiniGrit Spin: Selkirk's tournament-legal grit surface generates up to 2,000 RPM and outlasts traditional embossed epoxy raw carbon finishes by roughly 3x.
Hand-Adjustable MOI Tuning: Unlike fixed-weight paddles, the OMNI lets you remove and rearrange the perimeter weights by hand to shift balance toward stability or manoeuvrability.
Multi-Layer T700 Carbon Face: A patent-pending layered T700 carbon-fiber system that holds its texture and its shape season after season.
Widebody or Elongated: Widebody gives a 10/10 sweet spot for fast hands at the kitchen. Elongated adds half an inch of reach and more leverage for driving.

Q: Should I buy the Selkirk OMNI Elongated or Widebody?
A: Choose Elongated if you play from the baseline, play singles, or want extra reach and leverage on drives and put-aways. Choose Widebody if you spend most of your time at the kitchen line in doubles and want the larger, more forgiving sweet spot for fast hand battles. Both shapes share the identical ReactCore platform and 16mm thickness.
Q: Is the Selkirk OMNI USA Pickleball approved?
A: Yes. Both OMNI shapes are USA Pickleball approved and legal for sanctioned tournament and league play in the United States. The InfiniGrit surface is engineered to stay inside the USAP surface-roughness limit for the working life of the paddle, not just when it is new.
Q: How is the OMNI different from the Selkirk LABS Project Boomstik?
A: The Boomstik is a dedicated power paddle rated 10/10 power and 8/10 control. The OMNI trades a small amount of raw power for meaningfully better touch, scoring 9/10 in power, spin and control alike. If you finish points with pace, take the Boomstik. If you want one paddle that handles resets, dinks and drives equally well, take the OMNI.
Q: What does the MOI Tuning System actually do?
A: MOI stands for moment of inertia, which is the paddle's resistance to twisting when you hit off-centre. Selkirk positions removable perimeter weights to raise it, stabilising mishits and widening the usable sweet spot. On the OMNI these weights can be removed and rearranged by hand, so you can bias the paddle toward stability or toward a faster, more manoeuvrable swing.
Q: Is a 16mm paddle right for an intermediate player?
A: Yes. A 16mm core gives a softer feel on dinks and resets, a larger effective sweet spot and more forgiveness than a thinner 14mm core, which is exactly what most 3.5 to 4.5 players need. Selkirk rates the OMNI for intermediate to advanced play.
Q: What grip size does the OMNI come in and can I build it up?
A: Both shapes ship with a 4.25 inch grip circumference, which suits the majority of adult players. If you prefer a thicker handle, adding a Selkirk Tacky Overgrip increases circumference by roughly 1/16 inch per wrap.
