Victor DriveX 12 Badminton Racket - Orange (DX-12-O)
~ Victor's flagship all-around racket for fast doubles.
The Victor DriveX 12 (Victor code DX-12-O) is Victor's flagship all-around racket, built for doubles players who want stability in flat exchanges and a steep, penetrating smash. This listing is the standard orange DX-12 in 4U/G5.
The DriveX 12 is the racket of choice for mixed doubles Olympic and World Champion Zheng Si Wei and is used by top doubles players across the BWF World Tour. His collection edition, the DriveX 12 ZSW AJ in Pearly White, is sold separately.
Why Players Choose the DriveX 12
Metallic Carbon Fiber shaft
Thin metal sheet fused with high-strength carbon fiber gives an elastic, crisp hitting feel and more direct power transfer, so drives and smashes leave the strings fast and steep.
NANO AEROGEL and Nano Fortify TR frame
NANO AEROGEL lets Victor reallocate frame weight and add more carbon fiber, while Toray's Nano Fortify TR raises elasticity and impact resistance for a strong, stable frame.
FREE CORE handle
Victor's nano-nylon FREE CORE handle lets the racket swing more freely and adds comfort to the hand over long sessions.

FAQ Section
Q1: Is this the Zheng Si Wei edition? No. This is the standard orange DriveX 12 (DX-12-O), the racket Zheng Si Wei plays. His collection edition is the DriveX 12 ZSW AJ in Pearly White, which we list separately.
Q2: How does the DriveX 12 compare to the Victor Auraspeed series? The Auraspeed line is built for pure speed and fast rebound, while the DriveX 12 is an all-around racket tuned for stability and precise placement. Doubles players who want control in flat exchanges usually prefer the DriveX.
Q3: What does 4U/G5 mean? 4U means the frame weighs 80 to 84.9 grams unstrung, a popular weight for fast doubles. G5 is a small grip size favoured for quick finger control.
Q4: What is the maximum string tension? Victor rates the 4U DriveX 12 to 32 lbs (14.5 kg). Most intermediate-to-advanced players string between 24 and 28 lbs; exceeding the rated maximum can damage the frame.
Q5: Is the DriveX 12 good for beginners? It is better suited to intermediate and advanced players. The stiff, solid feel rewards good timing and swing speed.
Q6: Is this a genuine Victor racket? Yes. It is supplied through Victor Racquets North America, and warranty claims go through Victor North America. Call us at 732-250-3598 for help.
