Li-Ning AxForce 90 New 5U Black / Gold / Orange Badminton Racket Unstrung

Li-Ning AxForce 90 New 5U Black / Gold / Orange Badminton Racket (Unstrung)

Li-Ning's flagship attacking racket for players who win points with steep, heavy smashes. The AxForce 90 New pairs a head-heavy Box Wing Frame with a 6.4mm ultra-slim flexible shaft, the combination Li-Ning built for powerful, fast attacking play. It is the same model Li-Ning uses for its Loh Kean Yew special edition. The lighter 5U weight swings faster for quick drives, net kills and fast defence, while the head-heavy balance keeps the smash heavy. This listing is the 5U (75-79.9g), G6 grip version in Black / Gold / Orange, supplied unstrung.

Why Players Choose the AxForce 90 New

Head-heavy Box Wing Frame: mass sits in the head for heavy smashes, while the box-section frame cuts air resistance and stays stable through the swing.

6.4mm ultra-modulus slim shaft: the thin, flexible shaft loads on the downswing and snaps back fast, adding repulsion and racket-head speed.

Wing Stabilizer and HDF Shock Absorption: the frame recovers quickly for the next stroke, and high-density foam damps vibration for a cleaner feel.

FAQ Section

Q1: Who is the Li-Ning AxForce 90 New for? Advanced and professional attacking players. Its head-heavy balance and flexible shaft reward a full, well-timed swing with heavy, steep smashes.

Q2: Should I choose the AxForce 90 New in 4U or 5U? 4U (80-84.9g, G5, up to 30 lbs) feels more solid and stable on full smashes. 5U (75-79.9g, G6, up to 29 lbs) swings faster for quick exchanges and is easier on the arm. Both share the same frame, shaft and colourway.

Q3: What is the maximum string tension? 29 lbs for the 5U. Most advanced club players string between 24 and 27 lbs.

Q4: Does it come strung? No. It ships unstrung so you can choose your own string and tension.

Q5: Is the AxForce 90 New head heavy? Yes. It is one of Li-Ning's most head-heavy attacking frames, built for power from the rear court.

Q6: How is it different from the AxForce 90 Tiger Max and Dragon Max? The Tiger Max and Dragon Max are the earlier AxForce 90 Max editions. The AxForce 90 New (item AYPV001) is Li-Ning's current version, with a 6.4mm slim shaft and Box Wing Frame.

Q7: Is it suitable for beginners? No. Beginners and intermediate players usually progress faster with a lighter, more forgiving racket such as the Li-Ning Axforce Cannon or Halbertec range.

Q8: Does it come with a cover? Yes, a Li-Ning racket cover is included.
