Agassi built a career on taking the ball early and hitting through the court off both wings. The JOOLA Agassi Pro V is designed around exactly that: a tapered throat that enlarges the effective sweet spot, on a paddle that still has the Pro V engine behind it. For a tennis convert, it is the most familiar-feeling paddle JOOLA makes.
The Tapered Throat
Narrowing the throat moves usable hitting area up and out across the face. The practical effect is that balls struck slightly high or slightly off-centre still come off with pace instead of dying. If you came from tennis and you are used to a large racquet head, this is the paddle that will frustrate you least in the first month.
Propulsion Core
The Pro V generation's Propulsion Core returns more energy at contact than the Pro IV it replaced, and the patent-pending KineticFrame throat keeps the vibration under control. Textured carbon fiber face over a JOOLA Feel-Tec grip.
14mm or 16mm
14mm plays faster with more put-away pace and comes in at 7.9 oz. 16mm plays softer with a longer dwell time at 8.1 oz, which makes the drop and the reset more forgiving. Tennis converts chasing pace usually take the 14mm; players working on their soft game take the 16mm.
